Last updated: 24 September 2026

This privacy policy explains how personal data is handled when you visit aggelikakorovessi.com (the “website”). The website is the online portfolio of the artist Aggelika Korovessi. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Aggelika Korovessi. If you have any question about this policy or about your personal data, please write to studio@aggelika.gr.

What data we collect and why

Server logs

When you open a page, the web server automatically records technical information such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website securely and to detect abuse. Log entries are kept for a limited period and then deleted. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Visitor statistics (Google Analytics 4)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand how the website is used, for example which pages are viewed and from which countries visitors come. Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept the “Statistics” category in the cookie banner. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer. More information: Google Privacy Policy.

Embedded videos (YouTube, Vimeo)

Some pages contain videos hosted by YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) or Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc.). These players are blocked until you accept the “External media” category. Once you accept, the video provider receives your IP address and may set its own cookies and collect usage data according to its own privacy policy. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode and Vimeo’s Do-Not-Track option to limit tracking. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Contacting us by email

If you email us, we keep your message and contact details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where applicable, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Cookies

Details of every cookie used on this website, and how to change your choices, are in our Cookie Policy.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Cloudways (DigitalOcean LLC). The hosting provider processes server data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers named above (hosting, Google Analytics, video platforms) to the extent described, and where we are legally required to do so.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, email studio@aggelika.gr. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr) or the authority in your country of residence.

Children

The website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
